Goal
To install solar-powered borehole water
Upon completion of the 2020 water project in Obuofia Community, we actively sourced for funds to install a solar-powered borehole and support water resource committees. We subsequently received funding from Poul Due Jensen/Grundfos Foundation to install a solar-powered borehole and supply potable water to over 5,000 community members.

This project was primarily designed to improve supply of clean and potable water, which is considered as a critical life resource for community sustainability and resilience, to the indigenes and residents of Obuofia Community, Bende Local Government Area in Abia State, Nigeria (the “Community”).
