Ibeku High School Transformed
We are thrilled to announce that all major projects at Ibeku High School have been completed 100%, marking a transformative milestone in our mission to enhance the learning environment and promote community well-being.
Comprehensive Water Infrastructure Upgrade
- Wells & Pump Installation: Two new wells have been developed and rigorously pump tested. New Grundfos solar pumps, solar panels, and riser pipes have been installed, ensuring a steady and sustainable water supply.
- Water Reticulation, Tank Stand, and Storage: A fully integrated water reticulation system now channels water from the wells to key areas, including male, female, and staff toilets. Additionally, we completed the construction of two robust tank stands (27 ft and 15 ft) with solar panel provisions to deter theft, and installed three high-capacity 2,000-litre Geepee tanks on the 27-ft stand, providing ample water storage.
Sanitary Pad Distribution Initiative
In our commitment to ending period poverty, the Rector Care Kitn initiative has been successfully implemented. Free sanitary pads are now distributed to young girls, ensuring dignity and improved health.
Chemistry Lab Renovation
The chemistry lab has been completely renovated into a state-of-the-art learning space. All necessary water reticulation, roof and ceiling repairs, burglar-proofing measures (including iron burglary doors), furniture repairs, and fresh painting have been completed, creating a safe and inspiring environment for students.
Construction of Male and Female Toilets
The new toilet facilities have been fully constructed and painted, significantly enhancing hygiene and sanitation for both students and staff.
School Gate Construction
A new, secure school gate has been built and installed, significantly enhancing the safety and security of the entire school community.
Each of these accomplishments demonstrates our unwavering commitment to creating a healthier, safer, and more empowering educational environment. The transformation at Ibeku High School is not just about infrastructure it’s about laying a strong foundation for a brighter future. Join us in celebrating this remarkable achievement and stay tuned for more updates on our journey to transform communities for a better tomorrow.
